For the earrings in the Mythos collection, I used the Scale texture found in sacred carvings, and drawings to inspire the scales on the pieces. The name Quetzalcóatl comes from the Nahuatl words quetzalli, meaning "tail feather of the quetzal bird", and coatl, meaning "snake".
